Im posting for a friend without computer access. His Mom took in a stray who had kittens approx 11 weeks ago. He was about to take them to the pound today (9/25)--I talked him into letting me try to find homes. (they dont know anything about cats--he has promised to get the MomCAt spayed.) Kittens on south side of Chicago.

If you know anyone who is looking to provide a forever home for one of these 3--(2 band white--1 tiger..sex unknown)--any help/leads would be appreciated!! Please email [email protected] THANKS

It would be wonderful if you could post pictures as well - in my experience and that of cat rescue ppl, adopters are found much more easily with photos tho I always like for people to meet the kitten and vice versa. (Not that I have had to do this in awhile but...)

Good luck!!!!

I would suggest that if you cannot find homes quickly, you could turn them over to a rescue group. They would bring the kittens up to date on their shots, and often provide spay or neuter certificates when the kittens are adopted out.

I foster for Second Chance, they are on the second link above. A shelter often keeps cats in cages until someone comes along to adopt them. A rescue usually fosters the kittens in homes. Maybe your friend can even keep fostering the litter until the babies are adopted.

Good luck!
