btw, Oh guess what!! My bf called to say he bought a stroller for YY for MY birthday (amg other things) but this thrills me to no end. If I can find a link to the stroller (he bought it online and it was already delivered), I'll post it. It will help me exercise.

The crew here at St. Jude's gave me Hawaiian Punch and Boston Bakes Beans and a cake one of the cooks - herself evacuated from NO!!! - made from sratch in the kitchen here. This woman, an African American who has a cat named Garfield and says she like him is big boned and an even bigger heart, pulled me aside to say that "of all the doctors here, you are the nicest one I've met. You actually take time to talk to us." I was so touched!!! (I had a friend from Halifax send some children's clothes to her since they've lost so much but she sent them last week and they've yet to arrive. Send out some vibes to FedEx, <g>)
