With that much diarrhea and accidents, your cat could be dehydrated by now. Is there not another vet you can go to besides the one that is on vacation? How old is this cat, how long have you had him, do you have other cats, how clean are your litter pans? There are a dozen questions to ask but the right course of action is to get this cat to a vet to be seen.

Like any doctor, a vet would usually have an on-call arrangement while he or she is away on vacation. I wouold have your mother call your vet and see what arrangement your vet has made.

I can but cincur re the vet without knowing more and even then, the 1st course of action sounds like a vet should see this kitty. Dehydration is very dangerous in a cat, esp a kitten. Vets do have someone to take their calls or an arrangement with another clinic. There must be an after hrs clinic near you or another vet?

until you can get him to the vet, try to keep him in one room like the bathroom, as long as it is not carpeted, going in to keep him company etc of course

esp if you have other cats you want to keep the sick guy away from them so if what he has is contagious they do not get it too

and get the poor baby to the vet!!
