My Cat Keeps running away from me,whats wrong?

Why does ym cat allways run away from me he wont sit with me at all.

Not all cats are lap cats. I have one who does not like to be pciked up at all. If this is a kitten, she needs some space.

It all depends on the cirsumctances. If she is new to your home, she may well be scared. Give her a hdey hold of her own, a little bed or a small space where she can curl up in and let her come to you. She may well - as has been suggested - never be a lap kitty but she will appreciate your understanding her needs more if you give her the choice.

It's a young male cat? How old? Kittens have a lot more energy. Also, IMO males are less restless after they are neutered...
