yellow discharge

After sleeping, my kitty has some yellow discharge near the corners of her eyes...i dab it off with cotton...but is there something to worry about or this is natural?

I've been told that a little bit of discharge in the eye is normal, kind of like sleep (crusty stuff you get in your eyes in the morning) in humans. If its get to be too much, or you are worried, then give the vet a call and ask them for their opinion.
