So far my kittens (9 weeks and 13 weeks) have just had dry food set out in a dish next to their water ... Of course I make sure it's fresh and changed daily, if it's not already eaten ...

But I want kind of develop a meal time with my kittens, and kind of help with bonding, since I just got them a few days ago. I was wondering if there was any other food I could give them, not so much treats, but if you can recommend treats that would be great, too.

I was thinking of the Lactose milk, or the Petsip (whatever the "pet" milk is) Any other recommendations?

THANK YOU!

A good quality wet food would be an excellent thing to add to their diets. It helps prevent diabetes, obesiety and urinary tract issues, and is overall a more natural food source for them. Cats, as carnivores do much better with the higher protein, lower carb that wet food provides.

If you want to bond with these kittens, special treats isn't really the way. While they eat, lay down on your back on the floor next to them and talk to them softly, sing to them whatever. Avoid looking in their eyes, just lay there and tell them about your day. When they are finished, give them a pet, and then get up. Cats are group eaters, very sociable when it comes to the food bar- after all they share the milk bar early on. So just be with them while they eat and soon they will be climbing all over you.

You've had exellent advice...I'd add some wet food twice a day, and do as Hissy suggested during feeding times - at least for the evening meal

Unless absolutely necessary, dry food only is not really good for kittens. I agree with the above idea of gradually intriducing wet food.
