Who wants to help my son w/school project?

Who wants to help my son with a school project?? PLEASE only answer "yes" if you mean it!
My son is in 3rd grade, and they are doing Travel Logs. The Travel Logs are intended to travel to various places throughout the country and world. This is a project to further teach the awareness of geography to my son's class.

Anyone receiving a Log will be asked to describe the area where they live, send a postcard to my son's school, and then mail the Log on to someone else. (These instructions would be included in the Log, as well.)

Anyone who is interested in participating in this, please say "yes" ONLY if you mean it. I really don't want to see this wind up in someone's trash! Once the Travel Log comes home, I will PM someone who gives a "yes" reply to get their address, and once they recieve it, they should then come back to this thread to get another person's address to send it on and so on. I live in the US and I would love to see this travel all over the world! And, just think, anyone who participates in this, gets to read what others have written about their area.

Something I probably should have stated at the start, these Travel Logs don't have to be back to the school until May. So, there's plenty of time to allow for lots of people to say yes.
My son is so excited about all the places this is going to go! So, for putting a smile on my kid's face.... love to you all!! He was so upset when I told him that he might not be able to do this since we don't have any friends or family outside our state.
'Course that's before I remembered all the great people here that I now count as friends!

I am more than willing to write about my part of Massachusetts, and Rhode Island if you would like!

And, I have some friends in Russia, St. Petersburg. I will ask them.

Just to let you know- a long time ago, there was a similar project started here, only this was a cat book that went traveling. It was supposed to go to every member that was interested in it, they were going to sign it, insert a photo of their cat and mail it off to the next person on the list. It was going to end up with the webmaster before her firstborn was on the scene. It got lost- sidetracked- detoured and she got it finally when her second son was born, not her first. But, she did get it-
