we live on a small housing estate, its not bad plenty of kids ect, well for a the past few months we have had teenagers riding up and down the road on these mini motor bikes, the noise was terrible, well our housing officer put a stop to it told the dad that they would get kicked out if the kids carried on,
well all well we have had these big earthmoving trucks up and down the road,so noise and dust not nice,so was looking forward to a nice peacefull day,and what happenend some fully grown man (who should know better) starts riding a mini bike up and down the road, well after 1/2 hr of the hi-pitched noise i just lost it went steaming out side stood in the middle of the road and screamed bluemurder, and yes i used some VERY un-ladylike words
but it worked he went and didnt come back
dont lose often but when i do look out n duck for cover

I'm the same way. I can tolerate a great deal, but when I lose my temper, watch out!!! I did the same exact thing that you did to a neighbor who lives behind me. They own Pit Bulls and were letting them loose in my yard every day (to do their business). Not only was I sick of having dog excrement in my yard, I was worried about my cats. I ran outside in my pajamas one morning and started screaming at the dog and the neighbor using lots of cuss words. For a moment there, I thought I was possessed. That was several years ago. I've called the police on them several times (for letting the dogs run loose - one time when my son and I were delivering newspapers and the dogs almost attacked us and once for getting drunk and fighting on my back deck at 3AM). To this day, I don't talk to these people (real low lifes). They leave trash in their yard (which is the view from my kitchen window) play country hee haw music really loud - and sing along to it, and have an obnoxiously loud truck that they rev up just for fun. I wish they would move.

I know what you mean.

We have loads of kids playing out in our street! (which was me 10 years ago.
) But now these kids have go-carts and things that are really loud on the tarmac.
N when your tryin to watch tv all you can hear is them out side, which is very annoying.

Its even worse when they play with a hard football, which did hit my car, and i was so mad i opend the door and just well shouted at them! then my next door neighbour came out and did the same. oh you should of seen the looks on their faces.

thing is u have a go at the kids now u end up in the wrong, the parents wont admit that their kids are a problem
i always told my kids treat ppl with respect and they will respect you back.but alot of parents dont have that attitude any more.

If they carry on get in touch with the council because the ASBO department are cracking down on this sort of thing.

They won't hand them an ASBO straight away but they monitor the problem and will keep in contact with you to see that everything is ok, and if not then they get slapped with the actual ASBO.
