Kitten acting weird!

Hi all! How can you tell if a kitten is in heat? My Tinkerbell will be 6 months old next month. I noticed today she looked like as if she was crouching low on the ground, her butt slightly in the air and wiggling it. Then, she's been rolling around on her back.

Plus she keeps making these trilling noises (which I think is cute!). Does anyone know what this means? We were going to get her spayed in November but now I'm thinking maybe next month!

That sounds like heat to me. I would have her spayed as soon as your vet will perform the surgery.

Sounds like it to me too....might be "cute" if this is her first heat....but they can get quite obnoxious sometimes....and the "thrilling" can turn into awful yowling...so i`d agree....GET HER FIXED as soon as possible.

WOW!!! You guys are awesome. Yep! As I may have mentioned before, we were going to have her spayed in November, but now that this is starting, next month!!!! The first vet was guesstimating her age because we got her from the next door neighbor. But our regular vet put her down at 5 mos. (Both of these vets are WONDERFUL!!!!)

Oy. No baby of MINE is turning into a trollop!!!
