Are you supposed to be absolutely enamored by your own cooking?

This is why I gain weight!

I decided to try something new last night so I made Salisbury steak, mashed potatoes and onion mushroom gravy from scratch.
I'm not sure, but I think it's even better now as leftovers.

It was a pain to make though, so I informed my fiance' that this will never happen again except on special occasions.

Your Salisbury steak and mashed potatoes sounds delicious!

The foods that are bad for you taste the best though!

I'm a terrible cook but my brother could make the most delicious diches, I could never resist.
I use past tense when I refer to my brother because he has moved to another country.. I miss his cooking.

You are lucky to cook so well, I believe its an art.

I am an accidental cook, trust me

I tend to throw things together and pray they taste passable.

The Salisbury steak was easy enough.
If you've ever tasted one, you can make a good guess about the contents.
Putting it all together properly is where the trick is.

The problem though is my lack of decent cookware and the fact that I need the gas jets cleaned on my stove (only one front burner lights).

Sounds absolutely delicious, but all I can hear is Chef from South Park saying "today is salisbury steak day, children!" hehe
I hear you on the "throw things together and pray" thing...that's the best way to do it!!
