A friend of mine adopted a kitty that was born without a diaphram. This has caused her large intestine, one loop, to wrap around her heart and lungs. They found this out through an xray at the vet. The vet says she cannot get fixed due to this birth defect. Even though she'll be an indoor only kitty - he was wondering if there is such a thing as Birth Control Pills for cats?

I know they give human ones to chimps.

I have heard that they do the depo shot for dogs. It's like the ones that us women can get. Maybe they can give it to cats?

From what I have read up on the subject is that they are testing one injection to make males sterile. They were also working on one for females as well. They have used Depo provera and a few other chemicals as well. The only draw back is that they can have some serious side effects.
