Yes I've just had a really big one!!!

Yesterday when I was a Goodwill loading up on novels to read I also perused the nonficton books and picked up an older book by Stephen Covey called First Things First.
All I have so say so far is: WHAT A REVELATION!!!
I read in my Explorer rather than be subjected to the Muzak in the lunchroom which was a good thing as I was
.

As yourself these questions:

What is the one activity that you KNOW if you did superbly well and consistently would have significant positive results in your personal life?

Now substitute professional life instead of personal life.

Now if you KNOW these things would make such a significant difference, why are you not doing them now??

This is just one small thought process.
Basically we run our lives via the clock and don't step back to evaluate to see that we may be efficient but our we being effective.

And I'm only on page 33.

So what does this mean you are wondering.

1. I am not going to follow through on that part time job. That is not what I really want at this time. I will stop by the store and left them know however. I have 12 months severance pay at my present salary so earning a paycheck isn't an issue. We are financially very comfortable. I do however have to re-evaluate my spending habits because I
buy alot of stuff that I don't need.
2. If I'm afraid of being "bored" during the winter months their are ALOT of volunteer opportunites available

Now to finish the rest of this book (hmmm maybe I'll read some at my desk as I have nothing to do!!!)

I think the $3.99 I spent on this book will be very well spent.

Thanks once again for letting me babble (or the writing version of babbling-hmm wrabbling??)

Those are good questions to ponder Gail.
So, what is your "one activity"?
