I love, love this programme! It makes me laugh, it makes me cry and the fact that they help people who have had trauma or an illness or do good for others or had some kind of problem appeals to me more...and Ty pennington is too damn hot ( to me anyway)
anyone else watch it?

Oh, Yeah. It's one of my guilty pleasures.

I must admit wondering if they ever build a house that is too much for the owner to afford afterwards. I'd like to see more follow-up episodes.

I've never seen it (don't have cable or satellite) although a year or two ago or so I believe they came here and built a house for a couple that had sextuplets? I think it was sextuplets. And when I say here, I mean here as in my town of Center Point, Alabama. I saw the sign on the city hall (which is my old elementary rock house school) saying something like "Welcome Cast and Crew of Home Makeover." I really don't even know where the house is, though. I would've liked to have seen that episode anyway.

It's a great show. The stories are so moving and it doesn't hurt that Ty is so easy on the eyes!

I LOVE that show! I think it's especially wonderful when they give them the gift of NO mortgage at the end!! I've seen them do that a couple of times. That show is really amazing!

Extreme Home Makeover is actually on ABC, so you don't need cable to watch it! Good thing since I don't have cable, lol.

I love it! And I love Ty.

I read somewhere that one of the families they helped tried to get their kids to leave or something, and the kids are suing. It was one of the families that took in a bunch of children.

I just ate dinner while watching, I thought it was just me who had the hots for Ty
and trust me drooling into food isn't good

One I remember well was the cop who's wife died of cancer, they buried her on what would of been her 29th birthday, he was left with three kids under five years of age, he applied as it was their first home together and they were going to renovate but she fell ill and it wasn't done, before she died she made him promise to carry on with it so she would always know where to find them all...That made me sob hard that episode.

They were in AZ one time, and my cousin's lived next door to the house they were re-doing. My little cousin, who is 9, thinks Ty is the best thing ever, she she got pics and his autograph too! What a sweetie eh?

Have I mentioned that Ty is amazing? He can work on my house anytime!! What a handy man to have around

I caught this story, too. It was the Leomitis who took in 5 kids of a couple from their church. Four of the kids have left and sued. THere were several things mentioned why they were suing, but the one that had me shaking my head and thinking they were greedy was that they expected their names to be on the deed!

Excuse me - but the house and property belong to Mr. & Mrs. Leomitis. Yes, the presence of the 5 extra kids (along with the Leomides, her mother, and their kids) helped get them a new house, but why should their name be on the deed?

Otherwise - love the show. Loved the episode where Ty got pushed into the pool while yelling through the megaphone.

People should watch this Sunday. They are actually doing a soldier from Fort Campbell that was injured in the war.
It was neat to see the community pull together. And the nice thing is that this family didn't apply to the show, their church applied FOR them... the family didn't have an idea until they were contacted.

I LOVE extreme makeover home edition! I always cry! I would love to have them redo my house, but am glad not to have a tragedy requiring it! DH and I joke that we are doing our own extreme make-over, the slow edition!
