How old is the kitten? Is he showing any signs of being ill, other than losing weight and having weird stool? Keep him warm, hydrated, and force-fed an appropriate amount till the vet opens, then get some professional advice. Don't panic though...

I definitly agree with this....but you really should get the poor kit to the vet first thing tommorow........

Was he weaned when you found him....he may need bottle feeding....possibly he is too young to digest the food you are giving him...resulting in the wierd stool color....

But defintly get him to a vet first thing tommorow morn..... and please keep us updated.....

Ill be praying for the poor kit......

Yes, he is dying as now, probably it wont take long if nothing is done.

I do hope someone has good advices!

I suspect you dont afford to go to a veterinary with him so it must be home-remedies...

You may try to buy a little more time by giving him water.

As he needs water whatever you do.

Plain usual water is better than nothing, but much better is:

1 liter water. (4-5 water-glasses you drink from)
1 - 2 soup spoon dextrose - or honey if you dont have dextrose
1 tea spoon kitchen-salt
a little bikarbonate of soda if you have...

Mix up by warming up. Cool down so it is drinkable fingerwarm. Give.

This mix helps some against diarrhea, it gives the much needed water - and the dextrose gives some food to.

If he drink himself, perhaps by spoon, good.

In not you must give it to him by forcefeeding.
Some sort of syringe (needle not needed)! In the corner of the mouth across the mouth, NOT straight down in the neck.

It is easier if you are two: one holding, one giving.

good luck!

Get the kitten to a vet- it is more than likely not going to make it long without a vet's intervention. Gray runny poop is not a good sign- signifies a bacterial infection.
