I am fostering a little 5 1/2 week old girl...Elsie. I noticed 3 clumps of diarheaa in her litter tray today and immediately dumped it...cleaned pan & replaced with new litter.
My gut instinct is yelling "Coccidia". Since she is a foster, I am able to get certain meds. directly from adoption/Humane Society. Would Albon be the correct medication to ask for asap?
She is eating normally & drinking her KMR from a saucer (no more bottle)...playing normally. I just don't like the look of her stool...it does have a strong odor to it.
I did wipe her down with some warm water and Dawn...her little paws were pretty stinky from trying to bury her stool in the litter pan.
Albon the answer?
