I got a self scooping litterbox . Big mistake. My ten yr old had no problem with it, but my six yr old was frigthened by it .She will not use any litter box now. I have removed carpet she has soiled, blocked closets and rooms off. I have regular litter boxes in the places she choses, only to have her chose a different place . I have had her to the vet and there is no medical reason for this behaviour. I love my cat but last week she chose my husbands gym bag. please help

Perhaps have your vet prescribe some calming drug.

I had read about a cat-owner witnessing
Clomicalm (klomipraminhydroklorid)
helped her cat urinating everywhere...

Clomicalm is otherwise used much for dogs being sorrow feks getting new owner, or old owner died or on long journey.

Are your regular litterboxes covered or uncovered?
I suggest you stop using the self-scooping box and get her used to the regular ones (uncovered) again. I suspect she is stressed knowing that the frightful contraption is in the house. Poor girl!

Yayi. You do mean stop up using the new self-scooping box altogether, also for the older 10 years? And return in 100% for the old classicar litter for both of the cats?

Yes, it is a good idea, I think too, and worth testing.

Or even two litter boxes dont harm.

One clean, one always with a little of the afraids 6 years urine in, so she knows it is her own and therefore safe and OK.
