Prayers please?

Hi everyone, I just wanted to ask those of us who pray to take a minute to pray for those in the path of the hurricane. Many are trapped in the citys and can't get out so please pray that God will protect them and minimize the damage. Thanks

Special prayers for those on the move, and those unable to evacuate in the face of Rita. May God keep you safe, and give you peace of mind over the next difficult days. And watch over the wild creatures and outside animals who will be in harms way.

That is a very beautiful sentiment, Beckiboo! I have lit a tall, vanilla candle to "Amen!" that! And this was a very nice thread to start, CarolKat! TCSrs form the most caring, compassionate internet community that exists!

Sending up a prayer to all the living things in the path of this storm. It has really made me stop and count my blessings, seeing what those poor people and animals are going through, and knowing but for a few gusts of wind, it could have been us on the East coast.

I agree with Krazykat. We jus had Ophelia here in NC, but it was nothing like these folks are facing. I pray that all will be safe. Life is precious, yes even the lives of our pets. Our church is praying for all who are in the path of this hurricane.
