I just got a 3months old kitten 2days back, she is well adjusted and all...but she keeps on chewing at everything....newspapers, her couch sheets, whatever comes in her paws...she sorta chews and plays with them. is it natural for them? I just find it weird.....why do they do this?

My uneducated guess would be that she is teething. Give her some plastic straws to play with that she can bite and chew on.

Mine loved chewing cardboard box corners at that age. It is perfectly normal for teething kitties.

My cat is 18 months and still chews stuff. Whats up with this?. I'm talking lampshades, magazines, large nail files, and brooms.
