About five minutes ago I was stroking my cat and I found a lump on his chest. All the fur has gone in the area around it, it looks like an oversized whitehead and it's definitely attatched inside as well as out. He's never had this sort of thing before, and I'm worried it could be worms, ticks or fleas as I wasa few days late giving him his flea medicine and this is the week that I have to worm him but I'm also a few days late on that as I've run out of his tablets. Should I go to the vet about this?

I think it's a good idea to get it checked at the vet. Or at least call the vet and describe it and see if they think your kitty should be seen.

I think you should take him to the vet just in case.

I doubt it's any of the parasites you mentioned. Could be an abcess. That would require antibiotics prescribed by the vet. So, dittoes on the vet visit.
