I've posted in a few of the other forums about my two cats. Alcott, who I've been told is a purebred Bengal (If he's a mix he has a lot of Bengal in him, but most likely is purebred and just a bad example of coat coloring, not enough spots!) and London, who is just your run of the mill black cat. Alcott is VERY bright- to a fault even. He knows how to open cabinets and I swear he's learning how to work a doorknob. He's caught onto toilet training quickly, as well as simple commands.
London is another story. He's struggling with toilet training, is just really picking up his name, and overall just *seems* a little dim. I can't quite put an exact description on it, just in comparison, he doesn't seem "all there." I saw some other posts about inbred cats and it occasionally leaving them a bit low in the brains department, lol. I wonder, is this the case with London, and if it is, should I have a vet check for other birth defects? Or is Alcott just so bright that he's making an average cat look bad? I figure that, being a street cat/accidental litter type boy, London has a pretty good shot of being inbred, hence my curiosity.
