Kitty won't drink milk

I'm lactose intolerant (like most kitties) and I buy the Lactaid milk. I tried giving some to Josie last evening and she wouldn't drink it! Although, I only keep it around for cooking and baking. If I won't drink it, I guess it makes sense that she may not like it either.

Heather stick with good old cool clear water

Oh yes. She gets water everyday. I was just trying to see if she liked it as a treat.

I tried Rosie and Sophie with the proper cat milk a couple of times and their noses wouldn't touch it

I, too, am lactose intolerant, as are most cats. You are smart to keep fresh water available at all times. They make milk just for kitties called Catsip your kitty may enjoy as an occassional treat!

I picked up the cutest thing from Drs Foster and Smith. They have a cat waterer that pumps the water up and over a dome. They have fresh, oxygenated water all the time. You should see those cats drink.

Prego and Polly have a Fresh Flow pet fountain, which they both love. Polly will drink from the "spout" where the water comes out before it goes down the ramp.

I give them Whiskas cat milk for a treat. They love it; Polly will even meow for it.

Mellie doesn't like ice cream (!!) so it's probably just a personal taste preference.

My cat absolutely loves car milk - Goes bonkers for it....And loves to lick an ice cream bowl if he gets the chance!

Josie likes ice cream, so I thought she'd like milk. Maybe I'll have to try some of the cat milk.

When I got my kitty few days back, I was told to give her dilluted milk or else it would be difficult for her to digest. I mixed a bit of water and milk and she would lap it up happily.
