My own special salsa, made with jalapenos, sweet cherry peppers, garlic and cilantro.

As for the commercial sauces, I like the Tabasco Green (jalapeno) Sauce, Poblano Salsa Ranchera, Tapatio and Cholula sauces. I was not too impressed with @$$-Kickin' Habanera Salsa. Their mustard is good though, as is Jack Daniels' Jalapeno Mustard.

There is a store in Lynchburg TN, that carries about 100 kinds of hot sauce and I sampled all of them (heck, you can't sample Lynchburg's BEST product but, the sauces were good).

Not too keen on hot stuff, but if I have to choose, it's Louisiana Hot Sauce that I like best. My dad likes all those "It's roast your gonads off hot" or whatever stuff. He probably likes it for the silly names.
For any hot sauce lovers AND Tequila drinkers, try this...a shot of Quervo with a few dashes of Tabasco added in...WOW what a punch that is! That's a shot! Like
after you drink it! Training wheels much needed! But it's GOOD!!!

But be careful, lately I've been hearing that Tequila makes your clothes fall off!

I checked out all the links so far and I like reading these replies. My mouth is watering!
At hotsauceworld.com I found that I had tried a sauce that is in the "hottest sauces" section. Once of my sisters bought it for me while she was in the U.S. a few years ago. It is long gone!

Have you ever to listened about it?
Rigel, yes I've heard of habanero peppers. I think I have tried sauce made from them in a restaurant. Of course it was really hot! Do you make your own sauce from habaneros? Do you buy any bottled hot sauce? What do you buy if you do?

I don't care for habanera's or serrano's flavors - I MUCH prefer the jalapeno. In my own salsa, the sweet cherry peppers add something.

Forgot: I also use green poblano chiles, in my salsa.

That's one of my faves too. Though I never knew what it was called. I buy it in Chinatown. I also like Sister Pat's and Frank's Red Hot (for Wings and things).

I like that kind of dizzying stoned sensation you get after eating hot sauce

Hands down my favorite is Don't Be a Chicken S*it! It's the perfect mix of hottness and flavor. Tijuana Flats It's from one of me and Brendan's favorite restaurants, Tijuana Flats, and they have a large variety of hot sauces. Many of them are really great!!! Chicken S*it will always be my all-time fave though!

I never used hot sauce until just this past year. Then it was Tobasco, but I'm not crazy about the taste of it. Now we use Frank's Hot Sauce. My son puts it on everything, but I only like it for wings and such.

So Rigel, which of the bottled ones do you like? I'd like to check them out online.
