For all of you who have opinion please chime in .... I am asking since I got a lovely sample from Scamperfarms that is warm prossecced ( 165degrees) and the dog and the cats like it ... I was just wondering anyone researched throughly into the different temps that pet foods are cooked..??

opps forgot the poll ////

here is what it would have been ..\\

I like heated( extrudruded)

I like heated( baked no matter what temp)

I like warmed

I like cold prosseced

I feed canned or raw only

umm..well you know where I stand but i'll reply to this thread anyway.
Cooking destroys nutrients. If you cook a little or a lot your still turning the food into a dead food. The enzymes which help a cat to digest the food are destroyed. Cats do not build fires in the wild and cook their kill.
It's common sense but I feel like im beating a dead horse..........

Yeah...you know what I go to the pet store and buy crickets all of the time for my cats. They love stalking them, pouncing on them and eating them! I tried to buy some feeder mice for my cats but I just couldn't do it. I looked into their little beady eyes and they said to me , No! No! we are just like mickey mouse! We want to LIVE!!!

yeah but I like to see them stalk the prey-it's fascinating. But I just can't bring myself to let my cats torture a mouse. A rat would probably be ok but then I don't want the rat biting and hurting my cats.
What do you mean about crickets in bathroom?

Grandma would have a fit... so the bathroom is contained nad Zoey could stalk all she wants and then mom would clean up...
