I want to go skiing! Its been a very long time since I've gone. I need to lose weight before so that I can fit into my ski suit. I love getting up in the morning, getting all dressed up for skiing. I also need to find good friends to go with.

skiing for me means not moving from in front of the fireplace at the chalet. I am one of the least coordinated people I know. I would do some serious injury to myself if I were to ski!

I'd love to ski too, but I'm afraid of heights so I don't think I could. I could never get into a chairlift. Ugh! And even if I did, then I'd have to get down the mountain somehow, and that's high too! I would like to go skiing with hubby though and hang out in the lodge in front of the fire.

Thanks for sharing the pics! Looks like you all had lots of fun!

I tried to learn to ski once. The instructor told me I needed to take up a sport before ever skiing again. And silly me, I thought skiing WAS a sport! Talk about uncoordinated . . .

Janet :angel2:

Where was that taken? Did you guys go to some resort out west or is that everyday life in Mass? Hey, I live in Florida...I have no idea how to ski...I can rollerblade!!! hahaha!! I love to do that. Someone said that if you can rollerblade, you'd have a good chance of learning to ski...how true is that?

You (being VERY fit) would pick it up in no time Cat. We stayed right on the mountain @ Sunday River in Bethel Maine. The townhouse we stayed in slept 12 with three floors and a fireplace, deck and nice full kitchen, two bathrooms (thank God). It was the nicest townhouse we've had there yet and we've been going every year for 4 years. There are seven mountains, so there is plenty of room and plenty of people.

We went to the bar saturday night and WOW did I feel OLD
. Everyone was 22 for crissake! All the guys said was "Dude". We used to say "man". We still had a blast and it was the best trip yet. Maybe next year will be better!
