Was just wondering if anyone knew if spaying a kitten will change her behaviour? Nikita came back from the vet's yesterday morning, and she's been very quiet and polite... we're not sure if it's left-over from the stress of being at the vet's, or it has to do with certain body parts that are no longer there? (Ironically, she loses her ovaries and uterus, and I get my first pap test!

I'll move this to the Behaviour forum for you

If she's just been spayed, she's bound to be a little tender etc.... but give her a couple of days and she'll be her old self once again.

Just make sure she doesn't jump up onto any heights incase she opens her incision.

I have two spayed females and two neutered males. No personality change what so ever. I think it's just another unfouded belief. She's just a bit sore and hung over.
