Canadian J.D. Fortune new singer of INXS!!!

Oh, and what a front man he will make!!! His sexy rock star persona is sooooo reminiscent of Michael Hutchence. I don't think they could have made a wiser choice. I find J.D. mesmerizing to watch, and I'll be in the virtual line-up for INXS Toronto tickets the minute they go on sale!

My husband is really pleased! He picked him early on and was rooting for the Canadian!

After hearing Mig finally perform an INXS song, I knew he wasn't right for them. He just doesn't have the same rocker attitude J.D. does. Mig is just too nice to be an awesome onstage rocker.

I figured it would be J.D., not only because of his strong voice (reminds me of a younger Scott Weiland), but because he's sexy onstage and the way Marty moves just isn't, well... sexy. Sexy is what sells tickets to rock shows. That's part of the attraction for me.

Awww,,,did you HAVE to put it in the title??? We recorded it and were watching it tonight.

We were disappointed but agree that of the last 3 he was the best for the band and will be a draw for the young girls.

He's an arrogant little twerp but hopefully the older members of the band will be able to keep him in line.

Well, INXS obviously know he's right for their band. The new band will draw all sorts of people, including myself.

J.D. has always seemed genuine as far as the music is concerned and he's about my age so he was probably a fan of theirs too back in the day. The music is what's important.

Besides, unless someone speaks up, nobody here actually knows him personally. I don't know whether he's kind or arrogant, because in reality, the only place I've seen him is on television.

As I said before, we were disappointed but AGREE that he was the best for the band and my husband as a musician is very familiar with INXS. We also agree that JD is an excellent singer and has talent.

We also only saw him on television and during the little exchanges, etc, that happened over the period of the series we thought him to be arrogant. He did tone down toward the later shows - somebody obviously talked to him (maybe slapped him upside the head - ).

We may have more info on him by Sunday as the homecoming party is this Saturday for Susie and since my husband is playing with her boyfriend's father he'll probably be there (I'm off golfing for the weekend). I'll let you know what Susie says - if she says anything.
