Simon Wiesenthal passes away

He was a hero and a gentleman and he brought so many to justice that would have otherwise escaped. He was 96 years old

He helped make the world a better place.
May he rest in peace.

They did an extensive story on him on NPR today. He truly showed that one man can make a difference.

Such sad news. He brought many Nazi war criminals to rightful justice. May he rest in peace.

Hadn't heard of him but had some idea from Jenns post. How sad and what a grand age!

He was definitely a hero bringing so many war criminals to justice.

This is a great loss.

I really believe that he will rest in peace, because he was granted enough time to complete the task he'd set for himself. About two years ago, he himself said that the few Nazi criminals he hadn't managed to hunt down were probably too old and feeble to answer for their crimes before a court of law.
