My boys have their big day tomorrow...they said to bring them in between 9 and 10 am. What time tonight should I stop leaving food out? How long afterward do I need to keep food away?

TIA!

I would take it away right before you go to bed. If you keep late hours than right at about 10:00 p.m. is good.

No food after mid-night! You can put the food back the night they get home!

When I had my cats spayed (I know, you said neuter), the vet told me not to feed them for at least 8 hours before the surgery. As far as after the surgery, I had food and water out for them. Neither of my cats wanted food for a good 12 hours though!! I don't believe Izzie threw up, but I know Charlotte's tummy was upset after the surgery. Then again, I don't believe neutering is as traumatic as spaying.
