Greetings to all members and your furry companions.

My fiance and I just adopted two fantastic kitties from a local rescue organization, and so we are new cat parents for the first time! We're very excited.

Cotton and Spike are four month old brothers who were found abandoned in a ditch at four weeks old, sick and infested with fleas. The wonderful people with Challenger's House in Toney, AL rescued them and raised them into the sweet, playful and healthy kitties they are today. This past weekend, there was a special adoption event at Petsmart where we met the boys and decided that we had to take them home.

They are settling in very well and we are enjoying having them here so very much.

It's nice meeting you all! *sends scritches to everyone's furkids*

Welcome to TCS & congratulations on Cotton & Spike! Or should I say Congratulation TO Cotton & Spike on getting adopted by a wonderful couple The angels at Challengers House must be so HAPPY that your boys have been safely placed with their True Family. I salute the rescuers at Challengers House for rescuing these precious boys and I offer this bit of new-owner advice:
To be practiced daily, while presenting catfood
Just kidding!! ... I was in bed most of the day with neckache & my cat Joey dutifully stayed with me, boring as it was; he was such a comfort!

Thank you all so much for your warm welcomes and friendly greetings! Cotton and Spike are doing so well! We are wearing the camera out, taking pictures. I have about ten or fifteen more to resize and upload right now, heh.

They are both such good boys and I'm absolutely crazy about them. They are sweet, affectionate, and patient when the silly humans try to sleep on the big rectangular playground in the bedroom.
