Hi Everyone! I just got home from a long weekend in NY, my homestate! We went to spend some time with family. We love hiking so my dad and cousin went with us. These pics are from on Bald Mountain. (Also known as Rondaxe mountain, but Bald Mountain to everyone I know!) It was a great time. I'm kinda sad to for it to be over!
This pic is kinda leaning over an edge. I kept freaking my cousin out walking on ridges and things. But I've been climbing that mountain all my life. Mom climbed it while pregnant with me and my dad and uncle carried me other times. It's kind of a tradition.
Some of these pics were taken from an old fire lookout tower built in 1917. The steps and cabin floor were recently replaced. My cousin and I made it half way up before we chickend out! It's unmanned but hikers can climb up and look around. My husband took these pictures for me.

It was a beautiful hike! My legs are sore but it was so much fun! I hoped the leaves would have turned more up there but really there wasnt much color at all. Oh well. Maybe next year!
