LOL that's a good place for a bird to sit

My two are only slightly bigger species, but they want to remove and destroy glasses, not sit on them.

Do you have a nest box for those keets?
You look to have a true pair there and showing their breeding colors.

LOL, I have a grey cheek parakeet that likes to hand from my glasses.

Not yet but I'm working on it and will have 1 for them soon.

You got lucky, every time I had parakeets, they always turned out to be all the same gender

I love keets, they always sound so happy.
If I ever get moved into a house, I plan on getting at least a dozen in a large indoor aviary.

Awww, birds!
My second favorites after kitties of course.

I want an African Grey soooooo bad, but I know they live so long, and I would worry about who would take care of them after I go.

Parakeets are sweet too.
Or parrotlets... I love them all!

Great pics, Howard. Thanks for sharing.

Vespacat - I've been toying around about creating a registery that would register you pet - health, likes and disklikes, etc with others who have registered... and upon the death of person a - person B would take over with hopefully a monthly stipend from the estate of the previous owner for food/care, etc - while the new family gave the love and attention.

Then I think that I would be very very picky about who would get into the registery - and then their would be just a handful of people.
More like a mini-registery.

I think of this often since it is just my husband and myself - no family to speak of.

I've made arrangements (and money for a decent donation set aside), for my birds to go to the Gabriel Foundation if anything untoward were to happen to me.

That's exactly what I was thinking. That's a bad place to be if he's "gotta go"--cuz birds aren't real picky about where they do it
Howard, you must really really trust Sunrise LoL!!
