I have seven week old kittens that stay inside. Each of them has bald spots somewhere on their bodies that has a texture to it, almost like mange. Could it be?
They don't act like it bothers them, they don't cry or scratch at it, there is no bleeding or redness. It just looks like scabs.
The mother is in good health, she doesn't have the spots anywhere. She isn't allowed outside now that she's had the kittens.
I know it isn't from fighting because they are too big to be from their siblings.
We're going to take them to the vet soon but we wanted to check if there was anything we could do at home before resorting to a vet visit.
Any advice will help, thanks.
