using the same brush on 5 cats

I don't know if this question is stupid..
is it ok to use the same brush on my 5 cats or is it better to have different brushes?

I have always used the same brush without any problem but it occured to me that maybe I should have seperate brushes because if one day one of my cats developes a skin disorder I may transfer it on to another cat.
Or would this happen anyway because they all live together?

do you use the same brush on all your kitties?

I actually think it would be a good idea to use the same brush on all the cats...so their individual scents get intermingled and spread around.

I use the same brush on 2 of mine. If you know one of the cat has a problem, then of course you shouldn't. But since they groom each other any way (mine do) I figured if one gets something, the other most likely will get it anyway, brush or no brush, so I just use the same.

All my boys share the same brushes. And sometimes the dog too.
