Hi, for a couple of years my 11-12 year old cat has had runny stuff in his eyes, I never thought of it as a problem, just wondering why he always has it in his eyes.

It just really depends. It could be a virus that is irritating the eyes, it could be something in the air or it could be the lower lashes rubbing them. Have you asked your vet about it?

You really are supposed to have annual visits. Even if it's just to make sure they are healthy. Besides which fact, by law they are required to have the rabies vaccine. Seeing as how they become geriatric at 7, it would be a good idea to take him for a check up.
