Thanks for the idea, especially one that would fit my budget, but I really want to see out of that window. Its the only one that faces Mouser's grave and the garden. I get a lot of comfort looking out of it. That frosted contact paper wouldn't be bad looking, but I wouldn't be able to see out, even in the daytime.IF anything
it would need to be blinds or a shade, so I could see out when I wanted to. The reason I don't want those is I have decorations on the windows and bottles that I painted on the sill. We have a very small apartment and I would have to find somewhere else to put them or deal with knocking them over all the time...and believe me, there is nowhere else to put them where they wouldn't look like clutter. I have even used all the available space on top of the upper cabinets.I sincerely thank all of you for your advice and suggestions.
At first I was kind of creeped out, just because I felt like the guy was telling me he's watching me. Sometimes its not what you say, its how you say it
. After awhile, I got kind of angry. I know now that very little can be seen from the street because the cabinets take up some space the only visable area is close to the window. I refuse to let that man intimidate me into changing the way I want my apartment to look.
