I have recently adopted to kittens; 6months and 5 months each. the younger kitten has started attempting to nurse on the older one and I have found her trying to suckle on herself. I am wondering if I should stop this or will she outgrow it? She was barely 3 months when I adopted her. I am guessing she did not get enought time with her mother-- if at all. Suggestions please!

You're probably right. Most of the time, this behavior goes away as they get older.

Does the other one do it too? Maybe she is just looking for comfort and the other kitten is being motherly, or fatherly. Speaking of that, if it is fathery then you might want to hurry up and fix them if not done already or you are going to have some very motherly and fatherly cats on your hands. Haha kind of a joke but its true

I would stop it, it can cause problems as they get older and not all will grow out of it- depending on why they started in the first place. You can buy some bitter apple and start dabbing it on the spots being suckled to discourage the suckling activity.
