Omg!!!! It's Happening!!!!

Tiara had her first kitten at 8:45 this morning! She is tried but doing good. She didn't lick the kitten as much as I thought she would. I had to cut the cord. Kitten looks to be pure white, but it isn't dry yet. Husband said that they grow spots or markings as they grow. I about laughed at him. Will update more later, and will post pictures as soon as all are born and dry!

Ahhhh. Beautiful, beautiful. How long has it been since he/she was born? Is Tiara still straining or in active labour?

Oh yes. He is eating great. Tiara is still in labor and you can tell there is still more in her belly. She started to come out of the box to get a drink and the baby started crying, she ran back in without getting her drink..what a good momma. I put her dish right next to the box. I will post as soon as something else happens.

And by the way - if you kitty is "pointed", because the photo looks kind of like a lynx point, I do believe your husband's right. They are born white, then their points come in later. Congrats!

Congrats. The kitten is so cute. I am so excited for you. I know it was a very long wait. Keep an eye on Tiara but if she is not straining she should be ok. Dora had an 8 hour break between kitten 2 and 3. The vet said anything up to 24 hours, as long as momma is resting and not straing or in pain, is normal. I can't wait for an update.

Tiara's second baby was born about an hour ago, a twin to the first. Sadly it did not make it. She still has babies inside. Will update when I have more news.

Kitten number three is here! Was born at 11 pm. The kitten is still wet and looks black. Will take pictures and post them tomorrow. Will let you know when the next one comes. She was resting the whole time in between births, and I know she has at least one more, I have to feel to see if there is anymore.
