I have flu!

And I feel rotten! My head hurts, my back aches, my throat is sore and I feel sick. I know I'm going to feel awful tomorrow, but I have to come into work as I have an extremely important meeting at 9am (hoping it won't last too long so I can go home early if I need to).

Anyone have any suggestions on how to get rid of these evil germs? At the moment I'm thinking of drowning them in honey, lemon and whiskey when I get home

Oh, and my boilers broken! Got a repair man coming over tonight, so fingers crossed it costs less than a years wages to fix! It's been quite chilly here over the weekend, and I know the kitties have felt it too as they've been stuck to me like glue, and I woke up with them sleeping on my head!

Go to bed, take painkillers every 4 hours and drink plenty of fluids, hot and cold.

And if possible, postpone that meeting!!! Lots of rest is what you need!

The only thing I've ever found that helps is lots of fluids and rest.

Your kitties proabably detect that you feel sick so they thought that sleeping on your head would make you feel better!

Actually you may have a point there. I thought they were being cuddly because they were cold, but maybe they could sense I was getting ill and were being loving (I can hope, right!)
