What was the longest time you have fostered a cat??? I have had CJ since January! She is the sweetest thing loves people and dogs, Hates cats
I live in a duplex so she has the run of the basement and stairs. I just feel so bad for her. No one wants her!

That is a long time. You need to somehow get the word out to someone who only wants one cat, and that is the hardest thing for a rescue group to do! We go to Petsmart, Petco, and vet's offices...where we find people who already have cats, and often other pets as well.

Try to spread the word among friends. Have the other members of your group put out the word about this wonderful cat, who wants to be an only cat. Can CJ be posted on a website, and maybe on Petfinder. Can he be highlighted as a pet of the week?

Best of luck to you, I hope CJ finds a forever home eventually! I never had one that long, but I have only had a few since April 2004.

I hope she gets a home!

The longest I have had a foster was for 6 months. Lucky came to me as a 6 week old kitten with a ulcer onher eye.. for a week she went on a eye medication, then it nearly ruptured so her ye was sewn shut for 3-4 weeks. then I had her for recovery after that.. she was a tiny kitten so I wouldn't let her go back to the shelter till she was nice and big.. she was adopted shortly after I took her back. I miss her so much, but she has an awesome home now

.
Try and make her known on places for dog-owners!

As she loves both people AND dogs, but no cats.

I've had to former feral sisters since Sept. of last year, so a full year now. Most of my adult cats are adopted out within 2-3 months but these girls are just very shy and no one seems to be interested. They are only 1 1/2 years old and absolutely beautiful and sooo loving, but only with me. I don't mind I love them and they can stay as long as they need, which will probably be forever.
