I know the feeling. I took the boys in to a new vet a couple of days ago for a "get acquainted" exam, and Narsil was 10lbs 7 oz and Mithril was 9lbs 9 oz. (Mithril is rangier, I would have sworn he weighed more,) and they are JUST 6 months (as of the 14th of September.) Welcome to the big cat club
!

Oh, I love big cats!!! JC is leveling out at 12lbs., I was hoping he'd get bigger, but guess he matured early. Joey is a petite 8lbs., very lanky looking, but since he's a "rumpy" I have to allow the "minus the tail" weight. You're so lucky.....

by the way, what do you feed?

Milo was 9 pounds at 6 months & now at almost a year he's about 15 pounds. I think he's getting a little chubby though, so we're trying to work off some of that with his feather toy, lol.

I have one of those. "Extra Large" kits.

Zorro was a normal-sized kitten, then within 4 months he was up to 8 pounds (which is when he re-entered my life). Now Zorro weighs 19 pounds!

I weighed Hammie last night and he's ballooned to 15 pounds. But he's not an Extra Large; he's just a superb eater with a serious appetite.

Big kitties keep ya warm!

I have a little over a year old Orange tabby named Dunkin he's got your beat
he weighs 16.4 lbs and he doesn't really eat much of anything, he doesn't even like treats, I have no idea what that's about. All of mine are pretty weighty, I also have 1 that weighs 12 lbs 3 that weigh 10, and the 3 baby girls weigh between 51/2 and 6
They must just be destin to be large

Well we don't have Zorro beat

Yeah he's not fat though! He is BIG BONED. He also has very big paws & a big head.

He also "walks" big; he really puts his feet down HARD, you can hear him coming down the hallway, like a dog!

I have two petite-kitties, too. KC is only 6 pounds and so is her sis, Dusty. Tiny lil girls next to my fat boys.

Joei isn't fat either. He actually has extra skin like a puppy. That scares me!

I Love big cats there's just something about them
I've always wanted a Maine Coon, I just Love them to. But I Love all my rescued babies, it kinda makes them more special to me.

Jesse James is 6 months and weighs 10 lbs. But he is 40% jungle cat. LOL

I hope he gets big. His mom was 25 lbs. Dad 19.

Keeping my fingers crossed that Jesse gets big (not overweight).
