Uncle Jerry and I went to my sisters granddaughters baptism today.......her name is Maeve Ashling........(not sure i'm crazy about the name but it is growing on me)

The guest of honor and myself

Not a good pic of her. Her little dress was beautiful

Little Maeve's older sister Katie

Godmother, our neice, priest, our nephew and little Maeve's big brother

She didn't cry once when they dribbled the water over her head

It was a nice afternoon.

She is a beauty!!!!!!!

My oldest nephew is 24, so I could be a great-aunt at anytime myself. Dont' feel old!

Gorgeous, Susie! What a lovely little one.

And, as for old, you got me thinking, and realizing that the eldest of my great nieces is in her early twenties -- 22 I think -- and enough of a renegade (like her Mum), that nothing would surprise me. (Oh, save me! I'm not ready for another generation yet, thanks! )

I was a great aunt back in 1994 at age 37. There are 5 rugrats (the 13 year old would love me calling her that) that call me Jan-Jan.

Your whole family is great. I loved the pictures.

Just remember, technically you could be a great aunt in your thirties (so not so old to be one.)

What an engaging grin!

Aw Susie you're ot old! your family is just prolific (laughs) seriously, I was an aunt at 2, so I'm not sure being an aunt/great aunt makes you old.

Also, Maeve is a very old gaelic name, so at least it's historic and unique
