I'm new here, and it looks nice.
I recently got two kittens, about 2 weeks ago.
I think its a boy and girl, I havent taken them to the vet yet but they are gray with black stripes, and look an awful like an Egyptian Mau but no spots
They are about 4-5 weeks I would guess.
They can sprint short distances, jump a short height, play with each other, and their ears are standing up.
They can also use the litter box (I have to put them in though).
Their names are Chaos and Mischief.
I found them in a box, which had 4 more kittens in my friend's apartment building. Since the super wouldnt allow pets I took in two and my other friend took in 4 (he wanted to give em to a shelter but they were too young, so he will most likely keep two and give two to a friend).
I feed them KMR formula and they chug it up like little engines.
Im starting to think its not enough for them, and its running me alot, I have to buy a can almost every day for them (5 bucks).
I dont know ill try to get KMR 2nd step tomorrow, and see if they would like that.
They are not eating Max Kitten food (chicken flavored) even if I add water.
They lick, but dont actually chew.
They have little teeth, I can see little sharp teeth sticking out on the bottom and top (forgot what they're called, canines I think).
Im 15 and I keep em in a 1 foot parcel box (which they can easily climb out of!)
Usually I just let them walk around my room, they like going behind drawers and beds and all that stuff.
Im worried about some things though, when they poop their poop color is dark brown. Its not black, but under the light you can tell its brown, its just dark, I dont know if thats supposed to happen form the KMR.
Also I saw a little white thing scurrying on Chaos's head and then it disappeared. Today when she woke up she was scratching herself for like 10 minutes. And a week or so ago I saw an orange bug (a flea?)
So I dont know.
Im trying to get them to the doctor, but I dont know, they're awfully young for immunizations so I guess Ill just have the doctor see them.
Its so expensive though, the vets are greedy, they make you pay 35$ so they can look at the cats, and then another 40$ to take a blood test.
And I have two kittens
They look almost identical to this Neko Mau, except they have short stripes instead of spots.
