Had a small freeze last night. Need to go out and start picking the remaining vegetables from the garden and hope they can be salvaged. The horse's trough had ice on it, so will drop the stock heater later today. Getting cold awfully early this year- though usually the horses warn me by sporting a new winter coat.

Racer is holding his own. He runs slowly, but he does run. I think he is sad about not being able to live up to his name right now. He still gets his peanut butter medicine ball twice a day- I have to hope it is doing some good.

I had to laugh this morning, the kittens were quite active in the tunnels. In the top tunnel they had pulled out all the carpet that was placed for traction. All night, I kept hearing the strangest sound- like muted fingernails on a blackboard- but not as annoying. Couldn't figure out what it was until this morning, the kittens were trying to get up the tunnel and without the carpet in place, they were sliding back down! LOL We secured the carpeting and were glad we had decided to put two tunnels leading to the house instead of just one! But poor Scuba, she kept trying to get a grip on that plastic pipe and couldn't- her nails are quite blunt this morning.

Today is laundry day- UGH one chore I detest- Next week is our knife show so we will be busy getting ready for that as well.

Hope everyone is having a good day- my coffee is about finished and it is time to get to work-

Loving my beautiful baby girl
We're having a lovely day. Little Serenity woke up early full of energy, and Sierra is doing her best to stay out of her reach!
Sitting here on the bed with the laptop, I've just captured a beautiful picture of my sweet Sierra posing on the nightstand, and then one of Serenity playing with her favorite toy! She carries it around with her everywhere, even brings it to bed at night, so adorable!

Outside, the sky is clear with the sun shining bright!
Being Sunday, the workers are not out repairing homes as they were the past couple of days. Maintenance is supposed to come check out my hot water heater today. It's probably a simple electrical issue, but the breaker keeps tripping or something, thus eliminating my hot water. They finally brought me a key so I can go in and fix it when it does, and I've just taken my first hot shower since before the hurricane! Wow, that felt great!
Will be needing to get a nap a little later, as I work the night shift tonight. Hope everyone's having a great day!

The weather is finally just about right. We're staying in the 70s-low 80s for highs, and 40s for lows. Perfect sleeping weather!

Not doing a whole lot today. Watching NASCAR right now, football a little later. I think it starts in about an hour. I'm VERY happy to say that the Avalanche won their first pre-season game last night against the Dallas Stars! It's so good to have hockey back!!!

We have to run some errands later today, groceries and cat food mainly. Hopefully that won't take too long because I'm really enjoying sitting at home today!

No longer sunday here for us kiwis. ITs monday morning,
and its snowing! It was supposed to be the beginning of spring 2 weeks ago and now we have some snow here. Great.

I dont know what the policy on snow days here in NZ is, so I am waiting for my dad to get home from work and find out. Gabe is still asleep and I don't want to wake him right now, he looks like a little angel right now.

Thank goodness for my electric blanket last night - it sure kept me and my parents cat Phantom warm - this phantom sure loves me!
I guess I have a charm that attracts cats!
She sleeps wit hme all the time, follows me everywhere, talks to me all the time! but she is a sweetie!

Monday morning here as Kellye said!

It's a beautiful day here in the capital, a little chilly but goodness the sun is shining and not a cloud in the sky!

I'm just enjoying a breakfast of Vegemite on Toast and a Chocolate Milk. And listening to Kajagoogoo, Too Shy.

It's nearly time for me to go and have a shower and get ready for college!

I'm getting picked up and dropped off at school by my Mums ex boyfriend, Ian!

Not sure what I'm doing after school!

Have a good day everyone!

My mom took me to breakfast with the boys. I tried raspberry crepes. The were delicious, but too rich for breakfast. Then we took a ride over to PetSmart (for the third time this weekend), played with the kittens up for adoption, visited with the dogs here from Louisiana (most were pending adoption approvals just since yesterday) and bought Sophie and Brynna both new toys. Brynna got a hedgehog that grunts when she bites it. Sophie got the large Crazy Circle. Both were very pleased with their new toys.

Once home, I started laundry and cleaned out all the windowsills in the house. They get very buggy from the fields, and it was nasty!

The older boys are going back to their dad's in an hour, and Joe just called to say he's on his way home, so he'll be home in about 3 hours.

Other than that, the weather is gorgeous and it's been a good weekend. I love this time of year!

ENGLAND... LAND OF HOPE AND GLORY!
Well i did my ironing this morning, then Rosie came for a scritch and a stroke and i felt 3 small lumps on her side that sent my heart racing, but only to find out they were tiny matts in her fur, so they were snipped out and she had a good brushing after that.

My neighbour came in for coffee with yet more problems in her relationship

And Sophie decided to play a game which is to pull herself along the duvet cover on the guestbed
I only bought it 2 weeks ago, but she makes me laugh when she does it

It's getting colder at nights now though!

I got up early today and went to an hour long spinning class

Then came back home and got back into bed with my boyf and Villy and fell back asleep

Finally got up around 1 or 2 and went and mooched around town.
I have eaten faaaaar toooooo much today and feel reeeally full!
Off to bed soon, can't believe it's nearly monday morning already

Villy's day:
I got up to stretch my legs and have some breakfast. Meowmy went out so I took her place in (my) bed and snoozed till she came back. Mean meowmy made me move over for her so I layed on all her lovely crinkly papers so she couldn't read them
The rest of the day passed, alternating between sleeping and eating and I did brave the garden for a little while. I'm now warming the bed up for meowmy.

It's Sunday afternoon here in Sioux Lookout. The power went out at 3am this morning and when we woke up it was still out (happens alot in the Northern communities). So Jeff and I decided to take a drive into the town of Dryden (about an hour away) went to Walmart did some shopping
and got a cappacino from Timmy's (how I miss that stuff). When we got back the power was on but we still don't have running water!!!, going to have to call someone to look at it.

Didn't do much today. Spent some time on the computer this morning, then lazed around reading Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix all afternoon; I'm working through the series again. Now I'm doing my laundry and on the computer again! Boring, I know!

It was a lazy Sunday morning here.

My husband has been doing some work around the house today.
I was very excited because I went shopping with a very good friend of mine. We hadn't had a girl's day out in quite a while. We had a late lunch and now I am back home.

I think the rest of the night will also be lazy.

I woke up early this morning to go to the bathroom, and ended up then checking email, and going out on the back deck to fill the stray's food bowl. It was *cold*...there hadn't been a frost, but I wonder how much longer our tomatoes have to ripen (thanks to miracle grow, ours went nuts this year...I can pick 20-30 cherry tomatoes a day and not be touching all the ones left in various stages of ripening, and our roma's and beefsteak tomatoes are just beginning to ripen...I think it is too late
)

Back to bed for a bit - had to rearrange Ophelia and Patrick who as usual had moved to take over my pillow and spot in bed.

Now having a very very late brunch and watching the seahawks (winning at the moment
). I've seen our cream or red point stray, ?female ?pregant, sitting in the backyard on one of our lawn chairs, enjoying the day, and Itty Bitty has been by for his meal as well, then stretched and sashayed about the deck table for a bit before taking off. He's talking more and more to me, and coming closer to me when I'm out filling the bowl when he's there. So we are making progress.

Miss cream point no longer runs if she makes eye contact with me while eating or if she hears my voice, but I can not be out on the deck with her, she runs.

We have some shopping to do later (cat litter and copy paper...the basics
) but it's going to be a fairly relaxed day.

We slept in this morning---very unusual!---we're usually up by 7 or 7:30 even on Sunday but today we didn't get up 'til 9. Surfed on the internet for a while this morning, Sunny made the coffee as usual and I had my 2 cups. Later, 10:30 or so I made some bacon and scrambled eggs for brunch sandwiches and Sunny decided to do some work on his plumbing project in our nascent utility room. I got to watch him work on the house for a change
. It's been a while since he's done any soldering and after making a couple of joints he decided that he must just be practicing since the solder didn't go all the way around like it's supposed to. He decided he needed some more 90* elbows and as long as I had him along I could pick up some hardiboard for the "wainscoting" in the utility area (I can't lift it very easily by myself and as for finding actual help in Lowe's ... forgedaboudit!) so I decided to get a few sheets of that. Then we decided that we're actually through "working" for the day and picked up a six-pack of Moosehead on the way back from Lowe's to enjoy the rest of the day with. Fielded a call from my mom at the nursing home ("No, mom, that's where you live now. No, mom you don't have a dog anymore, we found a very nice home for her in Kentucky a couple of years ago...No, mom, I'm 150 miles away ... No mom you're not actually at church ... [Sunday svcs in the chapel there I assume] you're at the Home, ask the lady there to take you back to your room ...) He was going to wash his bike today since he got rained on yesterday. Didn't get done. Been a lazy day otherwise. Starting to get itchy fingers. Starting to want to throw clay again. The house is finally getting "comfortable" and I feel like very soon now I may have to start setting up a studio again.

It's Sunday evening here, and I'm just finishing a couple of chores that I have not done. I've been skimming the internet looking for possible wedding sites and realized that most places expect you to reserve 12 - 16 months ahead of time for your wedding! And things are so expensive!
I never had to worry about a wedding before, because honestly I never thought I would get married. Boy, did I surprise myself.

The temperatures are pretty good here in Toronto. The leaves are just starting to change, but the days are still pretty warm. It seems like summer wants to hang on for a bit.

Have a good evening everyone.

Been a lazy Sunday all around here. Dad, Marie and I enjoyed our coffee on the deck while we watched steam rise off the frosted side of the fence in the sun. Marie is still in search of the ultimate Montana souvenir so we went into Missoula to do some shopping and enjoyed a late lunch at Arriba!, this faboo little Mexican joint in the mall. Returned home to lounge and cogitate, and probably won't do much this evening either! Just the way I like it. . .
