Snuggli is a little over 3 months old. She's a garbage and sink/countertop "hound." She is constantly seeking out the sink to clean plates, digging in garbage for what smells good, and can't seem to behave herself when human food is around. Her brother could care less and is happy with his kitten food. What's up with Snuggli, and how do we correct the behavior? She's become a nuisance as opposed to 'cute,' and a spray bottle only provides a temporary deterrant. Any ideas out there?

The first thing that comes to mind is worms. Have they both been dewormed at least twice?
With the counters, either double back tape or citrus spray on the counters helps. With garbage cans, usually if you keep it smelling like citrus it keeps them away.
If she comes after you with food, persistance is usually the key. You need to keep telling her no and putting her down. If she persists more than say 5-10 times, I would put her in a carrier until you are done eating. You should do this EVERY time she gets persistant about food.

Thanks so much for the reply - I will definitely give it a try! The double-sided tape and citrus and the carrier idea are all great ideas to try!!
