I am looking for a new Internet provider... I currently have roadrunner and it is alittle too much. What is your internet provider? Are you happy?

Roadrunner's prices are out of control! I tried to tell Scott that their prices were ridiculous, but all he seemed to care about was the speed. I flat out refused to even pay my 50% when he told me their premium rates and that's the package he took. We have their basic cable too! I will only pay 50% of what our cable and the regular internet would be.....since he was so insistant on getting the premium package. I don't need to have top of the line speed, especially at THAT price.I miss the days when my landlord provided my internet, which was included in the rent. We had to pay for cable, but to me Charter offers a better variety of channels in their basic set up....oh well, I guess I will have to get used to it since our options are so limited in this area.

We have Bellsouth DSL. While I couldn't be happier with the speed, I have had a couple of issues with e-mail delivery (which finally seems to be fixed) and their clueless staff when I was trying to get it straightened out. Men seem to want SPEED! no matter what they're involved in seems like, Sunny's the one that set it up, and he went with the fastest (and most expensive) option they had, for which we pay about $35 a month. And an extra $15 for a static IP, and I don't even know why we need a static IP!

I have SBC DSL as well, SBC has sort of a telecommunications monopoly in the Chicago area. Never had a problem with it, except when we moved they screwed up the date it was supposed to be turned on at the new house, so they gave us free dial up access til they fixed it and a free month of service.
