I think I read some where that we are not supposed to feed kitten food to adults.

Because I have one kitten and three adults, everyone is eating Kitten Chow. Am I in for trouble???

Not in trouble at all. Kitten food is super-high nutrionally...calories, protein, etc. for the little ones. If your adults are on the heavy-side...I would monitor their chowing down the kitten food. My adults eat their baby brother's kitten food all the time with no ill effects.

I would consider switching to a food formulated for kittens and adults, my concern is the different vitamin per centages in the kitten food, not needed by an adult. Not that concerned re the higher protein and fat - you'd just montior the adults to be sure they weren't getting chunky.

when i first got my cat he was 9 months old and a big baby. he would only eat kitten chow, regular food was too big for him. He had trouble chewing it and always spit it out. He loved the kitten chow. I let him eat that until he was alittle over a year and then made the switch to adult food and it's going good.
