LOL!! Yes, the celebrities seem to think that the throes of romantic passion in a new relationship are the same as the kind of love that leads to long-lasting committed relationships. It's so weird - they seem like they have no frustration tolerance - you know, they want it and they want it NOW!! Talk about instant gratification!!

Plus I think the fact that in the US you can get a divorce any old time make it much easier for people to marry in the first place. In Australia you cannot even apply for divorce until you have been legally separated for a year and a day. Case in point - I am still married although I have been with another man for almost a year. My divorce is coming through soon but I have had to wait nearly two years for it to happen.

That's sad, seems like most of these Hollywood marriages don't really last.

They filed for an anullment, I know it's kinda different from a diveorce. How though?

I think (could be wrong) if you have your marriage annulled, it's like it never happened.

I heard that for an annullment, it means the marriage was never consummated (meaning they never had sex).

If that is the case; Renee needs a good smack across the head!!!

The radio people said Renee & Kenny were only together for 19 days or so after their wedding, been living apart ever since. 19 days is plenty of time to consummate a marriage. Heck 19 minutes is all I'd need with Kenny.

Definition of anulment, per American Heritage Dictionary "The invalidation of a marriage, as for nonconsummation, effected by means of a declaration stating that the marriage was never valid." How sad.

I'm shocked. Shocked, I tell you! A marriage in the entertainment industry has failed. I can't believe it. It's just ... incontheivable.

Just a side note, I had my first marriage annulled and I had been married for 5 years and yes it was consummated!

There are other valid reasons for annullment than not having sex!

I needed the annullment in order to marry my husband in his Catholic Church.
