My 4 year old fixed female Kitty name Woffy (she was named before we got her and it just fits) is having some ishues. We just moved across country and where lucky to be able to take our 2 dogs and 2 cats with us on the road trip. Gotta love the military life. Anyway, one of our cats is indoor/outdoor. She was born out side, lived with her family out side, and just always put up such a fight to get out side once she was part of our family. She has always been more then happy to bite you when your going out if you get in her way. For the most part though, she would spend about 4 hours out side a day in different trips to lay in the sun, protect her yard, chase bugs, that sort of thing. Never going far. Even since we got her fixed she insisted on going out.

Since we moved, we have kept her inside, sometimes having to lock her in a bathroom to make sure no one lets her past. While out of the bath room, she has been peeing on everything! She peed in her water dish today on the counter. Not to hard to find pee spots, new carpet and our stuff has not gotten here yet, again, loving the military. LOL But Ewwww about all the pee. The plus side is that she is now for the first time, getting along with the other kitty in the house. She has gotten out a few times, she does not go far so we catch her.

I know her being inside is best, but I can not deal with all the pee all of a sudden and I know the land lord will not be ok with pee in the new carpets. He is a Dog person as is and thinks Dogs should be out side all the time, like the cat, they go out a few times a day to the yard but we let them out, we no longer let the kitty out. This is not what she is used to and I fear she could get lost or worse, TX is not GA.

Ok, I have rambled enough, thank you for listening.

Blessings,
Kimmy

P.S. We got a new litter box today, cat pee cleaner, a new kind of litter, and will try wet food everyday as it might be a PH thing for her but I do not think so. I can not wait till her cat tree gets here and the other larger kitty toys.

I know what you mean about military moves.

Could you get your kitty used to wearing a harness and leash outside? Take her out for a bit a few times a day, and see if that helps her calm down a bit. It will also accustom her to the new digs, in case she escapes and you don't notice right away.

There's also the very distinct possibility that with the stress of moving she may have contracted a UTI. Best idea, before dealing with the whole outside/inside issue, is to take her to the vet to rule out any physiological problems. Once she has a clean bill of physical health, you can start working on the psychological issues.

Good luck and keep us posted!
