Well, if there was a contest for ugliest cat - Socks would LOSE! She's pretty!! I love the little spots on her nose.
Gives her character.
Oh don't be silly!! I think (actually I KNOW) she is beautiful!!!
Her markings are so unique.

Awww... that's making me smile. I just look at her and crack up ALL the time. I hug and kiss her obnoxiously, saying " Socksy- you are one fugly looking cat, but I love you sooooooooooo much".

She is awesome. She's actually 1 of 3 sisters I rescued at the same time. They basically were strays (some feral characteristics) even though the person who had them considered them her pets. Of the 3 of them (Socks, Junie and Reba), Socks is the one that has been the most work trying to tame and win her trust. She is very skiddish but has come a long way with me. The lady they came from had a million cats that were indoor/outdoor- none of them EVER saw a vet- therefore she just kept having litter after litter. Socks, Junie and Reba were the 3 kittens left so I immediately scooped them up. They had earmites, bad fleas, worms and Reba had some type of scratch that resulted in an ulcer (I think is what the vet said) on her eye. Here's a pic of the three of them. From L to R is Reba, Socks and Junie.
Reba is a love bug and Junie (who used to be just like Socks) is wicked affectionate now. Socks does come and lick my fingers ALL the time, and rubs up against our black lab (who's 11 and gets aggravated very quickly by it, hehe)- so she's definitely getting better.

Junie looks like she dipped her face into a glass of milk - she's got the perfect "milk" mustache. =)
Socks - it's the eyes that make me laugh I think. They're so different than most cats (at least the ones I've known) and not only are they shaped differently, she's cross-eyed a little. Hehe, I think it's hilarious.
