I'm going home tomorrow for the weekend, and I'm wondering whether or not to bring the boys home with me. Chay will take to it fine, I think, but Billy's such a nervous guy anyways that he'll probably run and hide under the bed first thing if I put him in a new place. He's gotten much braver since he's arrived here since he's bonded to me more, so it shouldn't be as bad as when he first got here when he was under the bed for days. My boyfriend has offered to come over and visit the cats in the evening after he gets off of work if I give him a key, and he can stay the night as well so they're not alone. The only reason I'm even considering taking them with me is that I've had several long days away this week, and Chay especially acts like he really misses me (cuddling more than usual, sticking like glue to me for the first bit that I'm home) so I don't know how he'd take it if I left him here for the weekend. What do you guys think I should do?

It would be too stressful for them, IMO. I'd leave them at home if he could come over and spend some time with them.

Yeah, that's what I think. If only I could brind Chay and leave Billy!
But then they'd both be lonely. I wasn't planning on taking them home with me until a longer break like Thanksgiving or Christmas aso they had more time to get accustomed to it. Chay's recent bout of clinginess was the only thing that had me reconsidering. Thanks for the advice everyone!
